政彦 双语推荐 | 杜若政彦:希望把湖北特产推向全球门店

湖北省人民政府门户网站推出“外国人眼中的湖北”系列报道,讲述外国人和湖北的故事。今天我们来看看杜若政彦的故事。

In the 40 years of China’s reform and opening up, Hubei is opening its arms and mind to people from all corners of the world, attracting more and more foreigners to study and work here.

A series of reports focusing on Hubei"s characteristics and development in the eyes of foreigners will be published. In this issue, let’s tap into the story of Kakitsubata Masahiko.

“曾侯乙编钟很神奇,三峡大坝了不起,湖北发展环境好。”永旺(湖北)商业有限公司董事总经理、日本人杜若政彦说。

“The Marquis Yi chime bells and Three Gorges Dam are amazing. Hubei enjoys favorable development environment,” said Kakitsubata Masahiko hailing from Japan, managing director of AEON (Hubei) Co., Ltd.

2018年3月,杜若政彦正式任职永旺(湖北)商业有限公司。

He officially took office in March 2018.

杜若政彦介绍,1985年,永旺就开拓中国市场。武汉于2014年底开了第一家店,但发展速度远超预期,到现在已有五家门店,成为集团较为关注的事业区域之一。“武汉的大学很多,大量大学生毕业后留汉工作,组建家庭,是我们稳定的顾客群。”

AEON started to explore the Chinese market in 1985, with its first mall opening in Wuhan, capital city of Hubei, at the end of 2014. Up to now, Wuhan has embraced five branches by a much-higher-than-expected development rate. “There are a lot of universities in Wuhan. A large number of college graduates will work and start a family here, which is our stable customer group,” he introduced.

永旺梦乐城主要定位于新型家庭目标客户群。具体来说是30岁至40岁左右有孩子的中高收入家庭,家里一般会有老人帮忙带孩子,这种家庭结构的消费需求多样化,公司引进的一些日式服务,如儿童专用厕所、儿童购物车等都受到武汉市民欢迎。

AEON is targeted at middle-to-high-income families in their 30s and 40s with children, and there are elderly people in the family who help take care of children. This kind of family structure has p>

为适应本地消费者,永旺还将武汉知名商户蔡林记、四季美都搬进超市。

In order to adapt to local consumers, AEON also introduced Wuhan’s well-known brands including Cailinji and Sijimei.

在对外推广湖北产品方面,永旺湖北也不遗余力。今年6月,北京永旺举行“湖北商品节”,“有湖北小龙虾酱料、藕带、热干面等,销售超预期。”“2015年,顺利拿到湖北省首张外资企业‘三证合一’营业执照,给我们节约了很多时间成本。”杜若政彦觉得,武汉不断优化营商环境,给外企发展提供了便利。

AEON has spared no effort to promote Hubei’s products. In June 2019, Beijing-based AEON held the “Hubei Commodity Festival”, witnessing sales of crayfish sauces, lotus sprouts and hot dry noodles exceeded expectations. “In 2015, AEON acquired the first business license of foreign-funded enterprises in Hubei, which has effectively saved a lot of time and cost,” Kakitsubata Masahiko said, adding that Wuhan has continuously optimized the business environment and provided great convenience for the development of foreign companies.

8月初,杜若政彦还作为企业代表参加了日本关西地区“对话湖北”活动。“因为顾客、员工和政府的支持,我们才能在武汉发展这么顺利。”杜若政彦说,希望将湖北以及武汉的特产,通过永旺渠道,推向日本以及全球各地门店。

In early August, he participated in the dialogue event between Kansai and Hubei. "Thanks to the support of customers, employees and the government, we can develop smoothly in Wuhan," he expressed, expecting that AEON can introduce Hubei’s local specialty to branches in Japan and the world at large.

“武汉在城市规划上意识超前,规划合理,地铁十分发达。”他笑着说,“出门不用带钱包,到处都可以使用支付宝,很方便。”

“Wuhan embodies far-reaching foresight in urban planning, and the metro system is well-developed,” he smiled, “People go out with no wallet, for Alipay can be used everywhere.”

工作之余,杜若政彦爱去博物馆、访历史遗迹。

Kakitsubata Masahiko often visits museums and historical sites at spare time.

他曾经排队一个半小时,在湖北省博物馆看曾侯乙编钟表演,“很神奇!下次去,希望能看到传说中的越王勾践剑。”

He once lined up for an hour and a half in order to watch the performance of Marquis Yi chime bells in the Hubei Provincial Museum. "It"s amazing. I hope to see the Sword of Goujian next time," he said.

三国题材的书籍、动漫、游戏、电影,在日本很受欢迎。出于对三国故事的热爱,杜若政彦专门去了荆州和赤壁游玩,并通过看《三国演义》学中文。

The books, animes, games and movies relating to Three Kingdoms are very popular in Japan. Hence, Kakitsubata Masahiko went to Jingzhou and Chibi, and learnt Chinese by watching Romance of the Three Kingdoms.

他还去过孝感、黄石、襄阳、三峡大坝。近期,准备去恩施旅游,顺便考察市场,把恩施小土豆带到永旺。

He also toured around Xiaogan, Huangshi, Xiangyang as well as the Three Gorges Dam. And he will pay a visit to Enshi for market study and introduce little potatoes to AEON.
